Creative Makers is a specialist creative arts and music provider for children and young people aged 8 to 18 with SEND, SEMH, anxiety, EBSA and additional needs, offering personalised one-to-one and small-group creative learning.

We deliver tailored, creative programmes that nurture confidence, wellbeing, independence and transferable life skills through meaningful, hands-on experiences. Every programme is designed around the individual, enabling young people to learn in a way that reflects their interests, strengths and aspirations.

Our holistic Creative Arts pathway includes fine art, photography, textiles, graphics, illustration, 3D art, animation, film and moving image. Our holistic Music pathway includes music technology, DJing, music production and creative music-making.

Creative Makers offers:

• One-to-one mentoring and bespoke programmes.
• Small-group sessions.
• Outreach support in schools, homes and other educational settings.
• Creative learning at our dedicated studio in Nunney.
• Outdoor creative arts, DIY and practical learning at our quarry site.
• Arts Award opportunities.
• Creative tutoring, portfolio development and support for GCSE, A Level and equivalent qualifications in Art, Photography, Textiles and other creative subjects.

We support children and young people with a wide range of SEND, including autism, ADHD, SEMH, sensory needs and emotionally based school avoidance (EBSA). Everything we do is 100% child-centred, providing a flexible, relationship-based approach that enables every young person to thrive creatively, personally and academically.

Sessions are flexible, from one-hour interventions to full-day programmes. Costs vary depending on the type of provision, venue, staffing and session length, and are available on request.
