Grassroots Golf is an alternative education and sports provision service designed to engage young people, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds or at risk of exclusion in structured golf-based development programs. Our mission is to provide a safe, inclusive, and inspiring environment where young people can learn valuable life skills through golf, improve their mental and physical well-being, and re-engage with education and society.

Operating in partnership with local schools, Local Education Authorities and community organisations, we offer programs of golf sessions delivered in partnership with England Golf, using the Golf Foundation’s ‘Unleash your Drive’ coaching model, focussing on developing mental toughness in young people.

We deliver our sessions from a number of golf facilities in the area. Cumberwell Park (BA15 2PQ) is our main base, where we have access to first class facilities including driving range, short-game practice area, simulators, golf courses and putting greens.

The program integrates golf with personal development, life coaching with the aim of improving lives of young people, developing positivity, life skills and raising aspirations.
