Otterhead Forest School supports young people with additional social, emotional and mental health needs, in a woodland setting in the Blackdown Hills.We offer a holistic, trauma-informed approach to learning and promote positive risk taking in a nurtured environment.
Our student lead sessions are flexible and we strive to meet the needs of individuals. Staff understand the importance of relationships and in time become emotionally available adults.
Our ethos is centred around embedding a sustainable feeling of self-esteem which is transferable to other settings and as the building blocks for life-long learning.
Otterhead Forest School is a traded service arm of Willow Vale School. We identify needs alongside the school and offer bespoke programmes to meet the need of the individual.
