Despite the name, Read With Rachel offers much more than reading support.

I provide tailored 1 to 1 learning sessions across the primary curriculum, supporting children to develop academically, practically and personally.

With my background and experience in primary education, I understand that every child learns differently. Some children thrive in a busy mainstream classroom, while others need a more personalised approach, additional support, flexibility and learning tailored specifically to their individual needs.

Although I am no longer teaching within a mainstream primary school setting, I have brought my skills, knowledge and experience into designing and delivering individualised learning programmes that put each child at the centre.

Every child is unique, which is why there is no one-size-fits-all approach at Read With Rachel. Sessions are planned around your child’s individual needs, interests, abilities and goals.

I can provide support in a wide range of areas, including:

• Reading, writing and spelling
• English and grammar
• Mathematics
• Computing and digital skills
• Project-based learning
• Language and communication
• Life skills and independence
• Cooking and baking skills
• Creative and practical learning
• Support across other primary curriculum subjects

Learning can be adapted to make it engaging, meaningful and achievable, helping children to build confidence alongside their knowledge and skills.
