Description

Reed Tutors provides personalised, Special Educational Needs and Disabilities focused tuition for children and young people, delivered during the school day and term time in homes, schools, community settings, or online via our bespoke platform.

Reed Tutors specialises in providing individualised education support for learners with a wide range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. Every programme begins with understanding the whole child—their strengths, needs, interests, preferred learning styles, and any specific barriers to engagement. From this, we create a fully tailored curriculum designed uniquely for the learner, ensuring that teaching is meaningful, accessible, and aligned with their Education, Health and Care outcomes or agreed intervention goals.
Our tutors are experienced in working with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities learners and adapt their approach, pace, and resources to ensure sessions are engaging, structured, and supportive. Whether developing core subject knowledge, building key life skills, supporting reintegration to education, or providing targeted interventions to close learning gaps, all learning is shaped around what each pupil needs to thrive.

Tuition can be delivered flexibly in the setting that best supports the student:

  • Within their home, to provide comfort and stability
  • In school, for continuity and collaboration with staff
  • In community settings, where appropriate and safe
  • Online, using our secure, bespoke learning platform designed to support focus and accessibility

Support is provided during the school day and throughout term time, giving learners routine and consistency.
Accessing our service is straightforward for schools, local authorities, and parents.

We work collaboratively to design a personalised plan, ensuring expectations, targets, and communication are clear from the outset. All tutors are fully vetted and trained to deliver high quality Special Educational Needs and Disabilities support in a safe and nurturing environment.
Reed Tutors is committed to empowering every learner by providing flexible, tailored education that recognises their individuality and supports them to reach their full potential.
