Alternative Provision and Enrichment with Somerset Youth Theatre CIC – Spaces Available on Mondays
Based at Bridgwater Arts Centre, Somerset Youth Theatre CIC offers creative, child-centred alternative provision that uniquely bridges the gap between high-engagement social settings and structured academic support. Led by experienced qualified teachers, professional theatre makers, and teaching assistants, we work with up to 100 young people weekly across our Somerset satellites. While we are in the final stages of receiving our formal quality assurance badge under the new framework, we are already trusted by the local authority, delivering funded EOTAS packages, school placements, and holiday provision.

Our approach is neuro-affirming, relationship-based, and rooted in the PACE (Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity, Empathy) ethos.
We support young people with Autism, ADHD, school anxiety, EBSA, and care experience.

Vocational projects that actively embed English and Maths. We fully support older or ready students working towards Functional Skills qualifications.

Delivery Structure and Fees
Day and Time: 10am to 2pm on Mondays (open to extending days based on interest).
Placement Length: Minimum 6-week half-term block (one day a week) for measurable impact.
Ratios: Safe, high 1:3 staff-to-student ratio for extensive individual support.
Reporting: Regular attendance and progress reports sent directly back to you.
Fees: £60 an hour
Important: Participants must be able to engage safely in a group setting. We cannot provide dedicated 1:1 personal care.
