Description

Mentoring support for young people aged 11 to 25. Providing a safe, non-judgmental space to speak freely. I like to get outside where possible, walking in local woods or nearby parks. When indoors, I try to engage some creative activities into my sessions, such as painting, sculpting, working with beads, or colouring in. Sessions can be half an hour, an hour, or longer when required.

I have worked with children and young adults since I was a teenager myself, and I see the work I do as a great privilege. I have several years of experience of working with children with autism and ADHD, though I would not call myself an expert in this area. However, I am often able to establish a rapport with children who have previously struggled to form relationships with other professionals. I absolutely adore the work I do and love nothing more than enabling the young people I work with to feel listened to and respected, and – when appropriate – to have fun. Sessions can be at home, at school, out and about, or I have access to a local village hall that I hire for indoor sessions. Please visit my website for further details.

Thank you.
