Description

Targeted Provision delivers bespoke education to children and young people with additional needs who face significant barriers to engaging in a mainstream education.

We are an organisation established by educators in the SEND and SEMH sector who recognised the need for better support for vulnerable young people, delivered by teachers who have the right skills and expertise to make a difference. All provision is delivered using trauma-informed and relational learning strategies to build trusting relationships with young people and to engage them through their interests.

Once trust is established, we are then able to help young people make progress towards academic or reintegration targets and to improve their overall wellbeing. Support is delivered by qualified, safely recruited teachers and overseen by SEND and SEMH experts and a 24/7 safeguarding team.

We can work with young people from Key Stage 1 to Post-16 in their homes, schools, community venues or online. We offer Functional Skills qualifications and can facilitate GCSE and A Level exams.

Many of our young people have EHCPs, though this is not a requirement for accessing our service. All support is delivered one-to-one or in small groups of up to three young people. Support can be delivered in school, in local community venues or in the young person’s home and can be accessed either face to face or online.

All support is delivered by qualified teachers who understand trauma-informed practice and have extensive experience of working with young people with a range of SEND needs. Tutors are supervised by a team of SEND Specialists (former special school leaders, teachers and mental health professionals) to ensure that all support is meeting the young person’s needs. We can support young people on roll at mainstream and special schools, those without a school place and those in receipt of EOTAS packages.
