            Also refer to the Pre Assessment Pathway for Neurodiversity Interventions: Graduated Response which outlines possible interventions after careful screening for special education needs. These should be implemented immediately rather than waiting for a possible diagnosis of autism or ADHD.

            Who else can help

            Somerset Inclusion Advice Line 0300 123 2224. 

            Talk to your child or young person’s class teacher, they may be able to offer support and advice. Every school has a SENCO and you can arrange to discuss your concerns with them.

            A team of advisory teachers with specialism in Specific Learning Disabilities (SpLD), and cognition and learning difficulties  can be contacted by email at accesstoinclusion@somerset.gov.uk.
