Description
The Community Inclusion and Activity Team (formerly the Short Breaks Team) helps and supports children and young people 0 to 18 years with a disability or additional need and their families, to try out new things, have fun and access their local community.
The team provides:
- Inclusive school holiday activities for children with a disability or additional need aged between 8 and 18 years and family days out, including observations
- Regular club opportunities
- Regular newsletter and activities calendar
- Activity passes and Somerset Max Card
Emma introduces the Community Inclusion and Activities Team (CIA Team) and the support, information and guidance available in February 2022’s Local Offer Live. Including the grant funding process for providers to deliver inclusive activities, and activity day passes and the discount MAX Card.
